iWeb Tip: Features-Video-Flash In this short tutorial I will show you how you can add flash or even quicktime videos to your iWeb site without actually putting it in your web page. Simply by using your iDisk and creating a folder to actually store your video files.

Also I will show you some useful tips on resizing text areas or even pictures on your iWeb site.

YouTube Videos using Letter Box This is a video for my buddy,. but here is some info, This video was created using ScreenFlow, my initial export was 960×600 almost a widescreen format, but I want it to be Full Screen for YouTub.

So I use QT Pro then export my video using these settings.

Video: 640×480 VGA
Audio: AAC 128 kbps
Letter Box: Scale

This way it will place the black border on the top & bottom of my video without pulling it’s original dimension.

This video was directly upload to YouTube via Upload File feature.

Automator Workflow Quicktime I will show you a quick and easy way to create your own plugin for the contextual menu, to use Automator to create a workflow so that you can batch process your movies & export them to iPod or Apple TV format.

I found this information after reading a post made by Brian Floe of MyAppleSpace.com and figured I would give it a look over & I’m sure glad that I did.

In this tutorial I will show you how to use a transparent .png image along with quicktime pro to watermark your videos. I actually did this video for a fellow youtuber, and to help others that may have wanted to know how to do this.

In this short tutorial I will show you how to use WordPress & Quicktime Export To Web, on your WordPress Blog. Now a few things to note is that sometimes the “.JPG” image that is created in QT Export to Web may not show up on your blog. A simple fix is to open up any image editor & resave it as a .jpg image. Now the most important part is that the reference movie file that is also created chances are it will not play. Again simple fix is to point it to the Original movie file for example “My_Movie.mp4 or My_Movie.m4v” which ever may be the case. This way it will show your image & movie file and will play correctly in your WordPress Blog via Windows Firefox and IE7 as it will be fine in MAC OS X Safari regardless of how you do it. As always make sure that your movie is optimized for the web with fast start. Doing it this way will also keep the movie from loading since the image is the first thing to load rather then the movie, until you hit play. Then it will play & load at that time.

Please note that I have only test this in the browsers that I mentioned above. I have not yet tested this in Linux at this time.
