FCP Import JVC Everio GZ-HD10 Video

FCP Import JVC Everio GZ-HD10 Video In this tutorial we will go over on how to Import JVC Everio GZ-HD10 AVCHD video clips in Final Cut Pro. We will need to first connect our usb cord from the camera to our computer via the usb port. Once connected start up Final Cut Pro go to file & select Log & Transfer then select the clips you want to transfer over. Keep in mind that this process will transcode your clips over to Pro Res but you can select different types of Pro Res or AIC to transcode to. After that is completed you can simply drag the first clip into your timeline & let FCP automatically set your settings. This way you can edit away. If you prefer to edit AVCHD in it’s native format then at the moment FCP will no do, but you can do so in Premiere Pro CS4 version both on Mac & PC.

Connect: Final Cut Pro and ADVC-300

Connect: Final Cut Pro and ADVC-300 This tutorial we shall be going over on how to connect your ADVC-300 or similar device to your computer running Final Cut Pro, in order to capture your video. In my example I am using a Sony VHS to DVD Recorder, but in most cases you may be using a regular VCR which the steps outlined will still be the same. Make sure that you have your ADVC-300 device connected and both your computer & device turned on. Keep in mind that some applications such as iChat or Screen Sharing can conflict with your device so be sure not to be running those while doing your capture. Just follow the video tutorial for the rest of this setup.

Have Fun & Enjoy.
