Hmm not sure I signed in to my google reader and was able to add the subscription links http://www.itechster.com/podcast/podcast.xml as well as http://www.itechster.com both are showing up correctly & working fine, so I’m not sure what may be going on for you.

What browser & OS are you using that it’s not showing up for you. I use Safari on Mac OS X so for me it shows up correctly, but Firefox will show it in a different format due to the way that it works with rss pages.

I just did not overall like iShowUHD when I had tried it when it first came out, but do however own the regular iShowU. With that said I also own Screenium & ScreenFlow, but mainly use ScreenFlow & I didn’t want to go out & purchase another screen capture app if it wasn’t gonna really suite my personal needs. Not sure how much it has changed since it first came out, but I know a few folks that do really like & enjoy using it.

Why not use iShowUHD? From your other tuts, i see you have Final Cut installed, which would give you hella codecs to choose from. Appreciate your tutorials.

Hi – thanks a lot for the tutorial and info on d-vision 3.22 I have been looking for something like this for a while and was stuck using a program running in windows xp on parallels which slows my otherwise fairly powerful computer down to a crawl and practically makes me a spectator. The phrase “join vob files os x” just wasn’t bringing anything useful up but your tutorial’s title did show up on about the fourth page on google. Plus I enjoyed your tutorial and will be back to look at what else you have. By the way – could I ask? What software did you use to capture the video and audio of your tutorial? That can be due to which file you are trying to view and from what device as well. But as long as you have the latest QT player installed you should be fine.

Nice video. The only problem for me after this is that in the .html file after uploading i only get a ? on the Quicktime logo. Is there something wrong with the reference movie??

That would be to the timeline only affecting the video side of things, you can simply just move your audio over to stay within the same timeline. Or so long as you do not have any other videos on the same video line for example v1 = images v2 = a video then when you change the duration it will only affect those images but you will still need to move the rest of the timeline over to take away the gap. See image for example

Nice video, this works fine unless I have a video clip (with audio) after a group of photos.

For example, my sequence has 4 photos @ 10 seconds long, then .avi clip(s) with audio following that. When I highlight one photo and change it to 3 seconds, everything is great. If I highlight 2 or more photos and change them to 3 seconds, the video moves left on the timeline as expected, but then the audio remains where it was before the time change, thus out of sync. I’m 99% sure that there is a way to do this, I just don’t know it yet. Any ideas?

That would be due to the header information within the files them selfs that will not allow you to join them together. What can happen is it will join the file show the full file size yet only play a portion of the video with or without sound. So terminal would not be an option for you. However if they are .AVI files then you could go with D-Vision 3 here is the link http://www.objectifmac.com/down.php?name=D-Vision & website http://www.objectifmac.com/ this will allow you to join those .avi files as one along with the audio sound in them.

i’m trying to join files that are in mp4 format together. but when i tried to join files that are in avi.001, avi.002 etc format together, it joins as well, but there’s no sound in the video. Thanks.

i tried it the first time and it worked, but subsequently, the files didn’t join, only the first file out the three i tried joining together appeared. any idea what’s wrong? thanks man.
