Watermark Videos with PNG Image QT Pro
In this tutorial I will show you how to use a transparent .png image along with quicktime pro to watermark your videos. I actually did this video for a fellow youtuber, and to help others that may have wanted to know how to do this.

you rock. thanks!
Hey there..
so i did this and it works.. love the tutorial, very easy to follow..
i used the same technique to add pictures to a video of mine.. you know, like in the news bulletin where a pic appears in the corner…
the problem is though that when i uploaded my video to youtube, the watermark and pics i added were no longer present.
then i tried importing the video into iMovie, and it didnt have the watermark and pics in it either…
so basically the only place i can view the video complete with watermark and pics is in Quicktime.
did i miss a step?
Using the Save & Save As Self Contained Movie option both work for iMovie 08 since iMovie will re-encode the movie anyways. Now if you want to upload directly to YouTube then you will need to export that video since YouTube does not allow multiple videos within a movie it self.
Now you can also do this directly in iMovie 08 without using QT Pro. Here is the video I did on that, if that helps you out more. http://www.itechster.com/2008/05/13/watermark-imovie-08-png-image/
That was one of the best video tutorials I have seen. Very clear instruction and solid production. Thanks for the tutorial!
